COVID-19 UPDATES

UPDATED SAFETY PROTOCOLS at OUR LADY OF LOURDES/ALL HALLOWS

- as of 2/15/22

As of February 15, 2022, the Archbishop of San Francisco sent a memorandum communicating new COVID safety procedures within churches, aligning themselves to the state of California’s latest restriction policies.

Thus, we would like to communicate the new safety protocols for Our Lady of Lourdes/All Hallows Churches:

  • Masks are no longer necessary for people inside of the church. However, usage of masks is still highly recommended. We will still provide masks at the entrance of the church for those who would like to use them.
  • Communion will still be given under the species of bread, only. Those wishing to receive Communion on the tongue are allowed to do so. Communion must be consumed immediately after receiving, that is, in front of the altar.
  • Use of hand sanitizer: We continue to ask all parishioners and visitors to use hand sanitizer at the entrance of the church and before communion.
  • Social distancing: We will continue to rope off every other pew within the church to minimize the spread, unless otherwise stated or in other situations.
  • Sign of Peace is still to be exchanged by people reverently bowing to those near them.

We continue to ask that if you are ill and/or are exhibiting possible signs of the coronavirus, please remain home so as not to risk infecting others.

Thank you for your continued understanding and patience.

- Father Andrew and the staff of Our Lady of Lourdes/All Hallows Churches
